4THE1 believes that God has given each individual unique and specific skills that they can use to further their life goals. Each person has the capacity to work, to earn a living, and to provide for their family. We want to see people grow in their sense of ownership and responsibility within their sphere of influence, and we have the desire to empower people through practical skills. This is also an area of ministry in which we currently do not have capacity. In the future, we hope to host weekly gatherings such as sewing groups. We would like to involve the community in partnering with us. For example, we hope to feed the children who come to our future education program. Our heart would be to have people from the community care for the garden and then be able to make the food for the children.

In the near future, we would like to use Farming God’s Way as a catalyst to help people grow in their faith. We hope to train people in how to utilize the resources that they have in order to feed their families. Farming God’s Way teaches biblical stewardship of earthly resources. In these ways, we hope to see the individuals and family units of Sir Lowry’s Pass Village thrive.
